Beyond the Grill: A Cookbook For Men
Reviewed by Cindy Sanchez
Part of the "Take Five" series of cookbooks, Beyond The Grill is the first
to be geared towards men in the kitchen. As the title of the series hints to, each
recipe contains no more than 5 ingredients which not only simplifies the directions
but also cuts down tremendously on preparation time.
While Beyond The Grill does contain a few recipes that take you
"Back to the Grill", the bulk of the 80 plus recipes are those designed for
easy kitchen creations. Chapters also include Great Beginnings,
Vegetables/Salads, Main Event, and Happy Endings. With this easy
layout the man in your life is sure to be able to prepare a delightful meal
from appetizer through dessert!
By designing Beyond The Grill as a standup flip card recipe index, the
author and publisher continues the idea behind this cookbook...simplicity.
